The Indian Army floated a ₹30,000 crore tender for the ‘Anant Shastra’ surface-to-air missile system. BEL will lead production, with BDL as co-producer. Developed by DRDO and earlier known as QRSAM, the system offers a mobile, all-weather defence against aircraft, drones, rockets, and missiles at ranges beyond 30 km.
