Sky Gold and Diamonds’ shares may remain under pressure after its subsidiary, Starmangalsutra Private, reported a Rs 10.70 crore fraud involving deepfake techniques. Fraudsters allegedly gained unauthorised access to a company-issued mobile phone and laptop, impersonated a director, and tricked an employee into transferring funds to unknown bank accounts. The company has reported the incident to cybercrime authorities and banks.
